You’re probably here because you want to know who you’ll be dealing with. That will be me. Marcus Reilly is my company—named after my sons. So you’ll mostly be dealing with me. I have a small but dedicated team supporting me, but you’ll have my mobile number and I’m always available.
My approach is simple: honesty, integrity and complete transparency in all our dealings. No scripts, no sales pressure, no passing you from person to person.

I’m Harrie Vischjager – if you also happen to be Dutch, say Hoi! I live in New Malden with my wonderful wife, Ziekelle, and our four fabulous kids, which means life is a mix of school runs, football boots, and trying to keep the house vaguely tidy. Family comes first for me. Always has. Always will.
I’m also a lifelong Arsenal supporter, which means I’ve learned patience, resilience, and how to stay calm when things get messy. Those skills come in handy in property.
Business comes next, and I run it with the same values I try to teach my children: honesty, integrity, and doing the right thing even when no one’s watching.
If you see me around town, say hello. I’m usually happy to talk property, or football, depending on how Arsenal played that week. And I’m always happy to dispense some friendly advice.
When I started Marcus Reilly, I named it for my two boys, so my commitment isn’t just to you, it’s to my family. I wanted to do estate agency differently. No pressure. No inflated valuations to win instructions. No scripts. No nonsense. Just clear advice, straight answers, and a focus on helping you make the best decisions for you and your family.
After nearly 20 years in property, I’ve learned that it’s about trusting someone with your future. You don’t need a slick sales pitch. You need answers, clarity and someone who actually listens, and tells the truth — even when it’s uncomfortable. You already know your property is a big deal. You need someone to walk the path with you — eyes open, no pressure, no fluff.
I’ll ask lots of questions, not for my sake but to make sure you feel in control at every step. I’ll guide you through the process rather than push you through it. You’ll always know your options, the risks, and the likely outcomes. You won’t get sugar‑coating, but you will get clarity and assurance.
That’s also the reason we don’t have an office. Nobody needs an office to sell or let properties. It’s far more important that I spend my time where I need to be — talking to buyers and sellers, landlords and tenants. And in a place where everyone feels comfortable, whether that’s your kitchen or your favourite local coffee shop (or mine — Rasiga on Manor Drive North since you asked!)
I live in New Malden with my wonderful wife, Ziekelle, and our four fabulous kids. I started Marcus Reilly (named for my two boys!) because I wanted to do estate agency differently.
Amy is a vital part of our team looking after financials and all the key information central to keeping Marcus Reilly running smoothly — and Harrie!
Getting to know Ruby means great vibes, plenty of laughs, and occasionally needing a translation for the latest slang, but we wouldn’t have it any other way!
